Event Details

The first Friday Night Hacks was a great success.  So much so that we are going forward with another one this October.  There are a few tweaks this time, but the event will be along the same lines!  We are charging a nominal fee to ensure commitment and all of those funds will be poured into the Friday Night Hacks event series.

THE CONCEPT

Meet up at Cospace on a Friday evening, put a bunch of ideas up on the whiteboard, and hack on some of them (whatever piques your interest) all night.  In parallel, we're also going to run one or more Brainstorming Rooms where you can go to brainstorm with others and generate lots of ideas.  We'll have a few people on hand who LOVE to generate new ideas and talk through existing ones.

THE SCHEDULE

7p-8p  Meet and Greet

8p-8:30p   Team Pitches

8:30-9:00p Sponsor API Demos

9:00-11:00 Get to work or begin brainstorming

11:00 - PIZZA DELIVERY!

...

11:00 - 7am  Work on projects! (by yourself or in collaboration with others)

REFRESHMENTS

We can get whatever powers us through. To give you an idea, last time we had bananas, chips, salsa, hummus, Coke, Mountain Dew Throwback, Red Bull, veggies, pizza, Houndstooth coffee, cupcakes, breakfast tacos...etc.!
